Meet Nancy, a Certified Yoga Instructor, Stretch Therapist, Reiki Practitioner, and mixed-media artist whose work is rooted in culture, movement, and the quiet wisdom of nature. She walks the path of the Peaceful Warrior, exploring the worlds of energy work, somatic intelligence, and the expansive sciences of physiology and quantum physics.

As a Latina small-business founder and spiritual practitioner, Nancy leads Be Like Agua Yoga & Wellness with genuine curiosity and an open heart. Her journey flows through Reiki, stretch therapy, yoga, meditation, neuroscience-based stress relief, and anatomy disciplines she weaves together to support healing and

self-connection. She continues expanding her studies in Tai Chi and self-defense, approaching every practice with humility, eagerness, and growth.

Guided by the balance of yin and yang, Nancy helps others discover harmony within themselves and the world around them. Her knowledge of neuroscience and anatomy deepens her ability to share holistic tools that nurture the mind, body, and spirit.

Be Like Agua is more than a wellness studio.
It is a Latin-owned community space rooted in care, safety, healing, and resilience.

Right now, we are raising $5,000 to help keep the lights on and ensure this space remains open and accessible to the community.

This fundraiser is about sustainability, mutual support, and making sure that when people are going through hard seasons, there is still a place they can land.


Why Be Like Agua Matters

Be Like Agua was created from lived experience, deep self-inquiry, and a commitment to personal and collective healing.

This space exists to help people:

Regulate their nervous systems

Reconnect with their bodies

Build resilience through movement, breath, and mindfulness

Feel safe, seen, and supported

For many, this studio has been a place to process grief, stress, transition, and growth.
It has been a space for vision boards, meditation, yoga, breathwork, self-defense, and community gatherings especially for those who don’t always feel welcome elsewhere.

When community wellness spaces disappear, people lose access to care.

Like many small, values-driven wellness spaces, Be Like Agua is navigating rising costs while continuing to show up for the community.

We believe that:

This may very well be the only yoga instructor you'll ever need. Nancy makes yoga challenging yet rewarding. During her yoga classes, you'll receive excellent instruction to progressively push yourself and sweat hard.

Nancy also guides a special event called Moon Circles. Yoga is only a part of these classes. The rest of the activity is centered around growing with individuals who seek to connect with others who deeply understand the world is bigger than themselves. Expect these like-minded individuals to be incredibly positive and encouraging of the goals and hardships in your life.
